Singer Anknown Prosper has disclosed how singer and producer Daddy Andre, whose real name is Andrew Ojambo, cheated him out of his hard-earned money. During an appearance on Galaxy TV with Mr. Henrie, Anknown shared that he was essentially unknown when he first encountered the producer.
The two crossed paths at Spice Diana’s 32 Studios, and after some light conversation, Anknown gave him the money. However, he never heard from the singer of “Tugende Mu Church” again. When he returned to ask for his money back, he learned that the producer was no longer associated with that studio.
“Andre swindled me out of my hard-earned cash a few years back. I admired him greatly and looked up to him, so when we met at Spice Diana’s 32 Studios, I handed him the money. Naively, I didn’t ask for a receipt, and then he went silent. When I went back to reclaim my money, I was informed he no longer worked there,” Anknown recounted.
The singer of “Bismillah” promised to recoup his money by collaborating on a song with Andre. He mentioned that Andre likely never expected him to succeed as a singer.
This is not the first time the producer has been implicated in similar controversies. He has also faced allegations regarding inappropriate conduct with young female artists at his studio.
